The Whitchurch-Stouffville Strawberry Festival was actually one of the best festivals we attended. The entire festival from start to finish was organized and done right. The festival felt like a community event and the organizer claimed that there were over 49,000 visitors. The weather was also really nice other than that it was super hot.
This event was mostly family-oriented and there were a lot of rides for kids to have fun with. A lot of people came out to have fun at the event, and a decent number of people started entering the venue at 9am. We actually think that this festival is actually a lot better than many of the other more expensive festivals out there. Although Stouffville is not exactly a big city, the atmosphere at this event is unmatched by many of the other events.
